You find the barrier where the map said it would be. The gate is open. Nobody is guarding it.

Past it there are no cells and no numbered doors. Nobody has labeled anything. There is the forest, a few camps with their lights still on, and the people keeping them on.

The tree that leans toward you might be a tree. The radio that answers back might be a radio. The colleague who came back from the last expedition a little too quiet might just be tired. Nobody will tell you which. You learn, or you don't.

The camps hold as long as someone maintains them. Skip the procedures and they fail. Leave the whole place alone long enough and the barrier goes with them.
